Police hunting for Diepsloot cash-in-transit robbers
Updated | By Lindiwe Mpanza
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for a group of about 15 armed suspects following a cash-in-transit robbery in Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg.

Police say the cash van was travelling from Fourways to Krugersdorp when it was attacked by a group of armed men travelling in three vehicles on Monday evening.
The suspects fired several shots at the security van until it came to a halt. The security guards were then ordered out of the vehicle and forced to lay on the floor.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says the suspects blew up the van and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The driver of the van was injured.
Muridili says police are investigating and no arrests have been made.
