Police hunting for killers of fitness instructor shot dead during virtual session

Gauteng police are searching for an unknown number of suspects who shot and killed a well-known fitness instructor in Saulsville, Pretoria on Wednesday night.
Lawrence Masinge (40) was conducting a virtual fitness training session on Zoom when he was accosted by a suspect who fired several shots at him.
The shooting happened in full view of those who were part of the session.
“The motive for the killing cannot be confirmed at this stage. Police are appealing to anyone who might have information that can help in the investigation or assist apprehend the suspects to please call the nearest police,” says Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo.
Some of his clients paid tribute to Masinge on social media.
