Popular music producer DJ Sumbody dies
Sumsounds Music on Sunday released a statement saying the artist "ran into an unfortunate incident that led to his passing".
Musician Oupa John Sefoka, who was popularly known as DJ Sumbody, died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Samsounds Music released a statement confirming his passing.
"Artist and Musician DJ Sumbody has died. Details of his untimely death cannot be released but the artist named Oupa John Sefoka allegedly ran into an unfortunate incident that led to his passing in the early hours of Sunday morning 20 November 2022."
Sefoka's death is the subject of a police investigation amid reports that he was shot and killed.
Family spokesperson Mmanake Mokotimi confirmed Sefoka's passing but did not share further details.
Mokotimi said more information will be shared during the course of the day.
