Pretoria CBD streets closed for State of the City address

Various roads in the Pretoria Central Business District
(CBD) be closed due to the first State of the City address, by Tshwane Mayor
Stevens Mokgalapa.

Tshwane's Metro Police, Isaac Mahamba, says the parade will gather at 8 am at Church Square, Paul Kruger Street and from 9 am on Thursday morning it will move to Tshwane House.
Mahamba says from Church Square they will move south on Paul Kruger Street, turn left into Francis Baard Street, then proceed to turn left into Lillian Ngoyi Street.
Moving along Lilian Ngoyi Street, they will turn right into Madiba Street to reach Tshwane House.
Pretorius Street, Thabo Sehume Street and Francisbaard Street will be closed and opened as the parade passes.
The following intersections/streets will be closed entirely from 06:00 until 12:00:
- · Thabo Sehume Street and Madiba Street
- · Lillian Ngoyi Street and Pretorius Street
- · Sisulu Street and Madiba Street
- · Lillian Ngoyi Street and Madiba Street
- · Johannes Ramokhoase Street from the intersection with Sisulu Street to Thabo Sehume Street
- · Sisulu Street, between Struben and Pretorius Street
- · Tshwane House Main entrance will also be closed.
