Pretoria man goes on shooting spree, killing one
Police in the capital are investigating the circumstances which led to the killing of a resident after a man started shooting randomly in a Pretoria West street.
Another two victims are in a critical condition in a local hospital.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who fled the scene after he was apprehended by the community.
It's believed that the gunman had an argument with another man when he fired several shots.
The incident took place in Luttig street in Pretoria on Tuesday afternoon.
"The suspect took out the firearms and shot at the victims. He continued to shoot randomly. Three people were shot," says police spokesperson Simon Tshwane.
Two firearms were seized.
Police are investigating cases of attempted murder and murder.
