Prince Charles: Global recovery must set world on new trajectory
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Britain’s Prince Charles says rebuilding the world economy amid the coronavirus pandemic will require a “new trajectory”.

The Prince of Wales was speaking at a World Economic Forum (WEF) press briefing on Wednesday.
The WEF believes a ‘Great Reset’ is needed to urgently build the foundation of the economic and social systems after the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
“The global recovery must set us on a new trajectory of sustainable employment of livelihoods and economic growth,” the Royal said.
“We must not be afraid to reorientate our long standing incentive structures which we have been having such pervasive planet environment if we are to reap the benefits of a more sustainable world.”
Next year the WEF will host a twin summit in Davos which will take place virtually and in person.
The virtual conference will connect key global governmental and business leaders in Davos with a global multistakeholder network in 400 cities around the world.
