WATCH: Prince Harry delivers keynote address at UN on Nelson Mandela Day

Prince Harry will deliver the keynote address at a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in honour of International Nelson Mandela Day.

International Nelson Mandela Day is commemorated on 18 July every year.
It marks the birth of South Africa’s former president and struggle icon.
On this day, South Africans and the rest of the world pay tribute to Mandela by making a difference in their own communities.
The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at an informal meeting of the General Assembly to mark the observance of International Nelson Mandela Day.

The 2020 UN Nelson Mandela Prize will be awarded to Marianna Vardinoyannis of Greece and Dr. Morissanda Kouyaté of Guinea during the ceremony.
Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed and President of the General Assembly Abdulla Shahid will also commemorate the legacy of Mandela.
