Gauteng Department of Education has launched an investigation into allegations of bullying at Sutherland High School in Centurion.

The mother of the Grade 10 girl visited the school on Wednesday to complain of an incident during which a Grade 10 boy allegedly bullied her child.
A video of the mother detailing how her daughter was bullied has since gone viral on social media.
Gauteng Education spokesperson Steve Mabona said the school will institute a disciplinary hearing.
"In addition, the department has launched an investigation into circumstances surrounding the handling of this complaint by the educator. The school will provide curriculum support to the affected learner following the incident,"
Social workers have also been sent to the school to provide counselling to the pupils and parents.
