Protestors barricade roads in Kaalfontein
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
Ekurhuleni metro police spokesperson Thabiso Makgato has urged motorists to use alternative roads amid Monday's protest action.

The reason for the protest is unclear.
Community members of Kaalfontein in Tembisa took to the streets on Monday morning, burning tyres and blockading roads at the P91 near the Transnet school of excellence.
Makgato has urged motorists to exercise caution and use alternative routes.
"We urge motorists to please be cautious and use alternative routes. An alternative route to use is on Elgin Road, towards Kempton or C.R. Swart where we also have roadworks, so motorists to expect delays."
