PTA High Court officials suspended amid fraud probe
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The Office of the Chief Justice has suspended three officials at the High Court in Pretoria.

This follows a raid by the Hawks this week amid an investigation into fraudulent and corrupt activities in the Court.
They were placed on immediate precautionary suspension on Wednesday.
The Office of the Chief Justice said it takes a zero-tolerance approach to fraud and corruption.
The office says the suspension is to allow investigations to unfold.
"The three officials, who cannot be named at this time, are suspects in an ongoing investigation by the South African Police Service’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (the Hawks) looking into fraudulent and corrupt activities in the Court," the statement said
The Hawks are investigating the issuing of fraudulent documents to undocumented foreign nationals, allegedly used to delay or prevent deportations.
