Pumping full steam ahead at the Palmiet Booster Station
Rand Water has resumed pumping water at its Palmiet Booster
Station in Centurion.
The station experienced electrical issues last week Friday.
"Last week it ignited and let to fire breaking out in the pumping station," says Rand Water spokesperson Justice Mohale.
This affected normal pumping of water to municipalities in the area.
"We are back to normal, we are pumping to normal and supplying water to all our clients."
However, Mohale has urged residents to use water sparingly admist the heat.
