Ramaphosa to announce new cabinet on Wednesday

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to make his much anticipated cabinet announcement at the Union Buildings in Tshwane at 8 pm on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Presidency said Ramaphosa, who was sworn in on Saturday will inform the nation on who he has picked to join his national executive.
Ramaphosa vowed a "new era" Saturday after being sworn by chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng emphasising the reconfiguration of his cabinet.

Political analyst Levy Ndou believes Ramaphosa will stick to his promise of a reduced cabinet and make sure it is balanced.
"In relation to experience, I would expect to see Bheki Cele, Aaron Motsoaledi, Naledi Pandor and Lindiwe Sisulu back in the cabinet," Ndou said.
