SABC Radio Park remains closed
Updated | By Lindiwe Mpanza
Clean-up operations continued for a second day on Friday at the South African Broadcasting Corporation's (SABC) Radio Park headquarters in Auckland Park.

SABC spokesperson Vuyo Mthembu says employees have been told to only return to the studios and offices on Monday.
On Wednesday morning, the building was evacuated following a diesel spillage of about 2 000 litres of diesel from a generator on the 15th floor.
The generator was switched on during a power outage in the area.
Employees had to be evacuated immediately from the building when fumes started filling the air.
Mthembu confirms that SAFM and RSG are broadcasting from the Television Park building, while Channel Africa is currently on automation.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Tito Mboweni visited Radio Park on Thursday to receive an update on the extent of damage caused by the diesel spillage.
"The minister was taken around the building to see some of the affected areas and to get a first-hand experience of what has happened and I would say the minister appreciated the challenges and difficulties faced by the SABC," says Mthembu.
An investigation is also underway into the exact cause of the fault.
