SAPS aware of disruptive KZN protests - Cele
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Minister of Police Bheki Cele on Friday said law enforcement agencies were monitoring the protests by disgruntled taxi drivers in Durban.

On Friday morning, minibuses, trucks and busses were targeted by unknown groups, who forced drivers out of their vehicles and used them to block traffic.
Taxis are reportedly accusing the government of using Operation Shanela as an excuse not to issue permits to taxis.
Cele addressed the media at the launch of the new NATJOINTS coordination centre at the police's Tshwane Academy.
"South Africa is a custodian of big events. The World Cup is one of the biggest, and BRICS is another one, and this will be the 6th election.
"As we sit here, all national routes are examined. There are those that have a special look, like the N3.
