Search continues for Camps Bay shooting suspects
Police in the Western Cape are searching for an unknown number of suspects who shot and killed two people Camps Bay on Wednesday.
The shots rang out near one of the area’s famous beaches.
Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi says officers arrived at the scene, and found the body of an unknown man with gunshot wounds.
"Further inspection of the surrounding area indicated the body of a second unknown man who also sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel.”
The suspects fled the scene.
"The motive for the attack is unknown. Camps Bay police are investigating two counts of murder," says Swartbooi.
