'Secret military camp' discovered in Mpumalanga, 95 Libyans arrested
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Mpumalanga police arrested nearly 100 Libyan nationals who are believed to be part of a secret military camp in White River, near Masoyi.

The group was arrested on Friday morning.
Officials from the Department of Home Affairs have also been roped in to verify the suspects’ immigration status.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Donald Mdlhuli said the camp was disguised as a private security training centre.
"The place, which was initially designated as a training site, appears to have been converted into an illegal military training base.
"The 95 individuals taken into custody are all Libyan nationals and are currently being questioned by the relevant authorities. The investigation is still ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.
"The SAPS would like to assure the public that there is no immediate threat to community safety," he added.
