Seven killed in crash on N4 near Rustenburg
A collision between a minibus taxi and a truck on the N4 near Rustenburg in the North West has claimed the lives of seven people.
The latest crash comes a day after eight people died in a collision between a bus and a truck on the N8 outside Bloemfontein.
North West Transport spokesperson Alpheus Koonyaditse says four women and three men were killed when a 22-seater minibus crashed into the rear of a long-haul truck.
Three passengers in the bus, including the driver, were seriously injured, while the other twelve were slightly injured.
The injured passengers were all taken to a hospital in Rustenburg.
