Gauteng traffic warden, Chesnay Patricia Keppler, will be laid to rest on Saturday, following her tragic death on December 26.

The 22-year-old was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, a police sergeant from Eldorado Park, at her home.
Police allege that the sergeant, while on duty and allegedly intoxicated, visited his off-duty girlfriend. Following an altercation where he allegedly assaulted her and her friends, the women reportedly escaped and barricaded themselves inside the house.
The sergeant then allegedly discharged his service weapon through the kitchen window, fatally injuring Keppler, and then fled the scene.
Keppler was declared dead upon arrival at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
Her memorial service attended by Gauteng Acting Premier Lebogang Maile was held on Thursday, at the Dan Mateman Hall at Eldorado Park extension 5.
The incident sent shockwaves through Eldorado Park, sparking protests as residents demanded justice for the traffic warden.

Meanwhile, the murder case of the sergeant accused has been postponed to January 6 after appearing at The Protea Magistrate's Court in absentia on December 30.
Independent Police Investigative Directorate confirmed that the 42-year-old was still in hospital under police guard after he tried to take his own life.
"The officer is expected to appear in person on the 6th of January 2025,” said IPID spokesperson Lizzy Suping.
