A snowy weekend for Cape provinces
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Certain parts of the Eastern Cape, Western Cape and the southern parts of the Northern Cape are experiencing some snowfall.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says the cold front is moving over the Eastern Cape and is starting to weaken.
Forecaster at the SAWS Venetia Phakula says the cold front has left snowfall over the Sunderland area, Somerset west, Matroosberg and Oudtshoorn as well.
"We still expect the possibility of snow over the Eastern Cape mountains which include Winterberg and Sneeuberg. The snow may even be on the southern part of the Drakensburg," adds Pakhula.
The cold front is expected to move to KwaZulu-Natal moving further to the south-eastern parts of the province on Monday.
