Soweto woman Kidnapped
Gauteng police were on Monday searching for a woman who was allegedly kidnapped in Protea Glen, Soweto.
"At this stage the victim has not been found and a kidnapping case is being investigated," Constable Vincent Mashiteng said.
Nozwakazi Luthuli, 39, was allegedly kidnapped last Sunday evening in Key Street, while she was on her way to work at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
Later in the day, Luthuli sent a text message to her sister and her colleague, saying she had been kidnapped by people in a minibus taxi and that she was unsure where she was.
According to the message, her kidnappers wanted money, and her sister and colleague should contact Luthuli's husband.
