Ten killed in separate Mpumalanga crashes

At least ten people were killed in two separate car crashes in Mpumalanga on Monday.

Four people were killed on the R547 between Kinross and Kriel, when the car they were travelling in lost control and overturned.
To others were injured in the crash.
In a separate crash on the N12 between Delmas and Emalahleni, six farm workers were killed while being transported in a truck to work.
Mpumalanga Community Safety Department spokesperson Moeti Mmusi said seventeen other workers were rushed to hospital.
"The truck, which has seemingly been converted to transport passengers, was at the time of the crash picking up employees on the road to ferry them to work at the nearby farm.
"Six passengers were seriously injured while eleven people escaped with slight injuries."
