Three dead in Angolan oil rig fire: agency
Updated | By AFP
Two more people have died from injuries sustained in a fire at an oil rig off Angola, the country's oil regulator said Tuesday, raising the toll to three.

The fire broke out last week at the platform operated by gas consortium CABGOC, an affiliate of US energy firm Chevron, injuring 17 people.
Two people died in South Africa where they had been evacuated for treatment, the National Oil and Gas Agency said.
A third victim was found near the platform located 96 kilometres (60 miles) offshore and efforts were underway to identify the body along with an investigation into the fire, it said.
Angola, a nation of 37 million, is Africa's second-largest crude oil exporter, and accounts for more than 90 percent of the country's exports, according to the World Bank
