Three people have been killed in a head-on collision on the R524 in Tshakuma outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo.

Thirteen others were unharmed while one person was rushed to Tshilidzini hospital after sustaining injuries on Thursday afternoon.
Limpopo Transport spokesperson Matome Moremi says they suspect reckless driving to be the cause of the crash.
“Reckless and negligent driving is cited as a possible cause of the accident because officers on the scene are reporting that the sedan was driving recklessly, facing the oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with the bakkie.
“We call on our motorists this festive season to obey the rules of the road and it continues to be a concern that causes accidents in this province continues to be reckless driving and speeding.”
