Three killed in mob attacks in Limpopo
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Following the death of three people in alleged mob related incidents across Limpopo, the police in the province warned the public against taking the law into their own hands.

Two incidents were recorded in Mankweng while another occured in Thabazimbi.
In the first incident on Wednesday night, a man in his twenties was found dead outside the University of Limpopo. He suffered multiple severe injuries, after presumably being attacked by a mob.
On Thursday afternoon, a 24-year-old man was beaten to death in Moremadi Park, Mankweng after being accused of stealing empty beer bottles. Two suspects have since been arrested.
And in Thabazimbi police were called to the Apiesdoring informal settlement, where a man was stabbed to death. The suspect was hunted down by an angry mob, and after being assaulted, he succumbed to his injuries.
"Limpopo Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has strongly condemned acts of vigilantism by community members who continuously commit crime by taking the law into their own hands,” says police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
According to Ledwaba, the motive for these attacks are being investigated.
