Limpopo police arrested the three suspects on Saturday after a high-speed chase on the R519 Bergenek road towards Zebediela.

A fourth suspect died on the scene after he failed to control his vehicle, which overturned.
The trio is set to appear before the Magatle Magistrate's Court on Monday, on charges relating to the transporting of illicit cigarettes worth over R1 million.
Police spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba says police are on the hunt for an unknown number of suspects who fled the scene.
“Two additional suspects, a South African and a foreign national, were arrested in a Toyota Rav 4, while a third foreign national suspect was arrested in a white Ford Ranger, both vehicles containing illicit cigarettes. The other two vehicles, a white Mercedes Benz and charcoal Ford Ranger, were recovered at Bergenek village in Westenburg policing area, still loaded with illicit cigarettes”.
“All five vehicles, including the one involved in the accident, were seized. Cases of culpable homicide and possession and transportation of illicit cigarettes have been opened. The identity of the deceased suspect is still unknown” added Mashaba.
