Three women killed in Lusikisiki

Eastern Cape police are investigating a triple murder after three women were shot and killed in a Lusikisiki home on Thursday night.

According to law enforcement, an unknown man wearing a balaclava stormed into a house in Sitshayelo locality, demanding to know the whereabouts of a family member believed to be in one of the bedrooms.
When the intended victim's mother and sister attempted to intervene, they were both shot.
The suspect then entered the bedroom and shot the intended victim multiple times.
All three women died at the scene.

The motive for this brutal crime remains unknown.
OR Tambo District Commissioner, Major General Norman Modishana, condemned the murders, stating that the police will not rest until the perpetrator is apprehended and brought to justice.
