The city will host President Cyril Ramaphosa and members of his cabinet for an oversight visit to the Gauteng government.

The event will take place between 10 am and 3 pm.

JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla said streets that will be affected include Harrison Street and Jorrisen Street, Rissik Street and De Korte Street, as well as Civic Boulevard and Hoofd and Joubert streets.

"While there will be no road closures, JMPD officers will be deployed to monitor and regulate traffic flow.

"Delays may occur due to increased traffic volume. We request all road users to exercise patience and plan their travel accordingly," Fihla said.
