Tropical Storm Dineo: KNP bracing for torrential rain
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
Visitors at two camps in the Kruger National Park (KNP) have been relocated as a precautionary measure, park officials confirm.

Residents of Mpumalanga, Limpopo and northern KwaZulu-Natal are bracing themselves for heavy rain.
Cyclone Dineo made landfall in Mozambique last night. It has since been downgraded and is expected to make its way to our borders as a storm this evening.
KNP disaster management coordinator Derrick Visagie says: "We've got sufficient vehicles to evacuate and as a precautionary measure we've started to close all the gravel roads in the region, allowing people to travel only on the tar roads."
He says the Shingwedzi camp, which was flooded back in 2013, is prepared this time.
"Shingwedzi is fully operational now. That is why we've got the disaster centre here. It's not just for Shingwedzi, we are monitoring all the rivers and camps in the northern parts of the park."
Jacaranda FM News' Silindelo Masikane is there.
