Tshwane announces water shutdown for parts of Hammanskraal
The City of Tshwane has warned its residents of a 32-hour water supply shutdown from Wednesday 8 am till Thursday at 4pm.
The city will shut down the water supply to Stinkwater and Trustfarm in Hammanskraal.
The spokesperson for the city Lindela Mashigo said the water interruption is prompted by urgent repairs to major leakages on a main pipe that supplies water to Stinkwater from the Soshanguve DD Reservoir.
"The following areas will be affected; Stinkwater, Trustfarm, New Stinkwater" said Mashigo.
"Residents in the above-mentioned areas are urged to store enough water for household purposes during this interruption period."
