Tshwane bus service set to resume on Tuesday
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Municipal bus services in Tshwane Bus will resume on Tuesday after it was temporarily suspended due to a bus driver testing positive for Covid-19.

Tshwane's administrator Mpho Nawa says services were suspended to allow the city to trace the staff who came into contact with the driver.
"A total of 19 drivers are self-isolating while the positive driver is under self-quarantine.”
He says three of the city’s depots – C De Wit, East Lynne and Pretoria North - were also temporarily closed to allow for the disinfection and deep cleaning of the buildings and bus fleet.
"After the issuing of the occupation certificates of the three depots the core staff is expected to return to work tomorrow morning to prepare for the scheduling of shifts so that operations can resume on Tuesday.”
Nawa says both the interior and exterior of the buses and buildings were deep-cleaned.
"We reiterate our heartfelt apology to the bus commuters for the inconvenience they endured, but this had to be done for the health and safety of the TBS staff and the commuters.”
