Two killed, 7 injured in N1 crash in Limpopo

Two people have died and seven others were injured during a multiple vehicle crash on the N1 road near Ingwe Lodge in Vhembe, Limpopo on Saturday.

The provincial department of Transport and Community Safety says the accident occured when a truck lost control and jackknifed.
The truck reportedly affected two other trucks, two sedans, a minibus and a light delivery vehicle.
"Those with injuries were transported to the Memorial Hospital in Makhado," says departmental spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene.
"At this point, the cause of the accident is being investigated."
The department has sent messages of condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those who sustained injuries.
