Two killed in Stellenbosch nightclub shooting
A 30-year old woman and a 40-year old man were shot dead in a night club in Plein Street in the early hours of this morning.
Western Cape police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, says another woman was wounded and rushed to hospital for medical care.
He added the suspects fled the scene.
"We have opened cases of double murder and attempted murder", said Van Wyk.
He did not want to confirm the name of the night club.
Van Wyk called on eye witnesses to contact their nearest police station or the Crime Line on 10111 with any information.
