Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The two men who were taken into custody following the deadly tavern shooting in Pietermaritzburg have been released.

Gunmen stormed the establishment in Sweetwaters on Saturday night, killing four people and injuring eight others.
On Tuesday, KZN's police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi told reporters there had been arrests.
It has since emerged the duo was taken in for questioning and later released.
Meanwhile, the KZN Liquor Authority has confirmed that it has suspended the operating license of the tavern.
The authority launched an internal investigation to check if there were any breaches of the liquor license conditions by the owner.
It says it found that security commitments were not adhered to.
The authority says the tavern's operating licence will be suspended for three months until the security plan submitted is fully implemented.
