Veteran singer Winnie Khumalo dies at 51

Veteran Afropop music star Winnie Khumalo has died at the age of 51.

Khumalo passed away on Tuesday following a short illness.
Her sister Tshepi Rakeepile confirmed her passing on SABC News.
The award-winning muso was known for her 2008 hit song Live my life, Lazaru and Loluthando.
Rakeepeile described Khumalo as go-getter who was not only doing music but other arts.
"But she also widened out and she featured in a few productions like movies that she starred in and featured in some dramas because.
"But in the later days she had a recording company called Winnie K Records where she had signed to Rethabile as well, and she had a few releases of her own as well.
"Yeah, a very serious business woman, hard worker and she just loved to entertain."
She worked with the late Brenda Fassie and renowned music producer Sello Chicco Twala.
Funeral and memorial arrangements for the late music icon are yet to be announced.
