Walter Sisulu University staff member gunned down at campus
Updated | By Algoa FM
A staff member at the Walter Sisulu University's Mthatha campus was gunned down in their vehicle on Thursday afternoon.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana says the incident happened at about 17.39 near the Nkululekweni entrance gate, which is adjacent to the N2 highway.
She says police discovered the deceased inside a stationary vehicle in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds.
The motive for the murder remains unknown, and forensic experts and detectives are actively processing the secured crime scene.
The University made national headlines in April this year when chaos erupted on campus after a student protest ended with the campus residence manager allegedly opening fire on students.
One student was shot dead and another was injured during the violent protest.
The 54-year-old suspect handed himself over to police two days after the incident and was eventually granted bail, which resulted in another violent protest on campus.
