WATCH: Alcohol worth millions flushed down the drain

Gauteng police commissioner Elias Mawela says
over 630 000 litres of liquor was destroyed at the Johannesburg Central Police
Station.

The alcohol was confiscated over a period of one year from illegal traders in the province.
Mawela
says to put an exact value to the alcohol.
“You see everything we are destroying here. (If it was only) beer it would be approximately R10 million but because its different bands we are estimating between 10 to R15 million.”
Mawela was speaking on Friday.
