The father of the 4-year-old girl who was kidnapped, raped and killed in Wattville, Benoni has lunged at the man accused of the crimes in the Benoni Magistrates Court on Monday.

Ntokozo Zikhali (20) made his first appearance in court on Monday.
Just a few moments after Zikhali entered the dock, Irvin Ndlovu charged at the man who was sitting one row away from him in the public gallery.
However, Ndlovu was stopped in his tracks when Zikhali was whisked away by the police.

Tensions ran high when Zikhali made his first court appearance for the brutal killing of the toddler.
Poo's family was supported by community members and some political parties.
The 4-year-old girl went missing last Monday while playing with her friends at a park near her house.
Her disappearance prompted the community to go searching for her body in the neighbourhood.
One of her limbs was one finally found in the nearby yard where a 63-year-old woman lived.
The rest of her body was discovered in a shallow grave in an open veld.
Parts of her body are still missing.
