WATCH: Funeral Service of Alex FM DJ Joshua Mbatha
Family, friends and colleagues of the late Alex FM music compiler Joshua Mbatha have paid their last respect to the slain DJ.
The 32-year-old Mbatha was killed during an armed robbery last week, while he was walking home from work with two colleagues.
Five other people were killed allegedly by the same gang that has been terrorising the community.
Eight suspects have since been arrested in connection with the murders and are expected to appear again in court on Monday.
The funeral service for Mbatha was held at the Eastbank Hall in Alexandra on Saturday morning.
Mbatha was laid to rest at the Waterfall cemetery in Midrand.
