WATCH: Mbuso Mandela confesses to being ‘woman abuser’ in viral video

Former president Nelson Mandela’s grandson Mbuso Mandela has confessed to abusing women in a video making rounds on social media.

The video emerged on Wednesday.
It has also been shared on Instagram by Graca Machel's daughter Josina, who is an activist against gender-based violence.
“My name is Mbuso Mandela and I am a woman abuser. I put my girlfriend’s head through the window and through the Trellidoor. I strangled her.
“She needs me to admit it, so I’m admitting it in front of everyone,” said Mbuso in the video.
On the same day, another video of a woman claiming to be Mbuso’s partner emerged - where she said denied the abuse ever took place.
“I’m doing this video to show you guys that he did not abuse me, I don’t know why, well I do know why he posted that, because in our angry little fight we had. I called his bluff and told him that he will never try and ruin his reputation but as you can see there are no bruises, my face is fine,” said the woman.

Josina Machel condemned the video and said the family is looking for the best course of action.
“The video has shattered us as family. In my personal capacity, as a family member and founder of Kuhluka Movement, we condemn these actions in the strongest terms.
“We cannot condone preparations of violence in our families. We are looking for the best course of action,” said Machel.
