[WATCH] Police probe widespread destruction in Hillbrow
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Several criminal cases have been opened after residents in the inner city of Johannesburg went on a rampage.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances which led to several foreign-owned shops and vehicles being damaged.
The unrest was followed a meeting by community members on Sunday.
Residents claim foreign nationals are harbouring criminals and selling drugs in their shops.
"There was a meeting yesterday of the residents in the area and after that some of the people attacked shops that belong to foreign nationals," says police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo.
Masdono says no arrests have been made.
