[WATCH] Twitter reacts to Barcelona soccer stars landing in SA

South African soccer supporters braved the cold on Wednesday morning to welcome FC Barcelona stars.

World renowned soccer player Lionel Messi was a firm favourite when the team walked through the OR Tambo International Airport, shortly after their arrival on an early morning flight to Johannesburg.

The Spanish soccer superstars will come up against Mamelodi Sundowns at a packed FNB Stadium in Soweto on Wednesday night.
The match is expected to kick off at 6.15pm and according to Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokesperson Edna Mamonyane, they expect the first fans to take their seats as early as 12pm.
The gates are expected to open at 10am, while various streets will be closed from 11am.
