‘We have no reason to kill the Boers’ - Malema
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
EFF leader Julius Malema has told supporters outside the Equality Court in Johannesburg there is no reason to ‘kill the boer’.

Malema addressed supporters on Thursday afternoon supporters outside the Equality Court, where he was testifying in the hate speech case brought by lobby group AfriForum.
Afriforum maintains the ‘Kill the Boer’s struggle song constitutes hate speech and leads to an increase in farm murders and attacks.
But Malema told the court that the song was used to send a message by the forefathers.
“We are not barbaric, our people sang this song when they were angry, but they never killed them. We are angry but not like those who came before us, we have no reason to kill them, we are just telling them through song that we don’t like you because you killed our parents and stole our land.”
The trial continues.
