‘We will use force to restore order’ - police warns Rabie Ridge land occupiers
Updated | By Karabo Tebele
Police in Gauteng have warned residents of Rabie Ridge in Tembisa to stop illegally occupying pockets of land in the area.

A group of community members begun illegally occupying private land in the area over the weekend.
The owner of the land subsequently failed in his attempts to remove the residents by using a sheriff from the court and private security.
"What is happening now is that the community has continued to barricade the road and police now tried to engage the community members. It looks like it isn’t bearing fruits," says Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele.
"We are going to use our force to make sure that we restore law and order."
No arrests have been made.
