Woman dies in Vereeniging accident

“It is understood the woman, believed to be in her late 30’s, lost control of the vehicle she was driving and went up an embankment. The vehicle rolled several times and landed back on the R59,” ER24 said.

 

“When ER24 paramedics, Midvaal Fire and Rescue and other services arrived on scene they found the vehicle on its roof. The woman was trapped in the passenger side of the vehicle.”

 

Emergency service personnel used the jaws of life to extricate the woman from the vehicle, but she was already dead.

 

Police were on scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
