Youth Voices: Lebogang Mokoena

There are dozens of reasons to teach a child to read and Lebogang Mokoena has made it her mission to introduce young children in Kliptown to a world of words.

The 24-year-old facilitates a reading club for children in Grades 1 - 4 as part of the Kliptown Youth Programme.
The UJ student believes reading forms the foundation for a child's success.
She spoke to Laila Majiet about why she does it.
She believes investing in the future, begins with our youth.
