A woman from Blue Downs in Cape Town has accused Sea Point police of racism.
Esethu Mcinjana (23) says she was arrested while sitting on a bench in Sea Point on Sunday while she was waiting for a job interview.
A video of two police officers searching her bags has gone viral.
Mcinjana says she was accused of carrying a carjacking device, when it was in actual fact a remote control for a gate.

"They were being racist because there was no reason to arrest me. What had I done? I did nothing wrong and all I want is justice."
Mgcinjana was held at Sea Point police station overnight.
She has since received legal advice and intends on suing the officers.
Western Cape police spokesperson Novela Potelwa says they are investigating the matter.
"The investigation is led by a senior police officer from the Cape Town cluster. Once it is finalised, details will be made known. The SAPS wishes to reiterate its commitment to upholding the constitution of the Republic of South Africa that espouses the principles of human rights."
