Broos names Bafana squad for AFCON qualifiers

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced a 23-man squad to face Uganda for this month's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

South Africa will play away to The Cranes on 15 November before facing South Sudan on 19 November in Cape Town.
These are the final matches of the qualifying campaign, with Bafana Bafana second in Group C with seven points after four matches.
Last month the national team drew 1-1 with Congo Brazaville after beating them 5-1 in Gqeberha.
GOALKEEPERS:
Ronwen Williams, Sage Stevens, Sipho Chaine.
DEFENDERS:
Mothobi Mvala, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Aubrey Modiba, Fawaaz Basadien, Siyabonga Ngezana, Rushwin Dortley and Khuliso Mudau, Sydney Mobbie.
MIDFIELDERS:
Теbоhо Мοκoena, Bathusi Aubaas, Luke Le Roux and Thalente Mbatha.
FORWARDS:
Elias Mokwana, Evidence Makgopa, Mihlali Mayambela, Oswin Appollis, Thapelo Morena, Iqraam Rayners, Patrick Maswanganyi, Relebohile Mofokeng.
