The Lions have announced the signing of another backline player with EW Viljoen moving to Johannesburg from Leicester Tigers.

Viljoen has been playing his rugby in Leicester since 2019.
The announcement comes a day after the news that another centre, Bulls captain Burger Odendaal, would moving across the Jukskei.
Viljoen moved to Western Province from Bloemfontein in 2014 where he made 28 appearances for the Stormers.
His time as the Stormers was hampered by injury.
He also represented South Africa at Under 20 level at the Junior World Championship in which he played a starring role on the way to South Africa’s third-place finish in the tournament.
He is a versatile back that can do duty at fullback and wing as well.
