History beckons as ‘The Brazilians’ take on Brazilians
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Mamelodi Sundowns’ hopes of reaching the FIFA Club World Cup's last 16 hang in the balance as they face Brazilian giants, Fluminense.

The two sides will meet on Wednesday evening at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida in a crucial Group F decider.
A victory will guarantee Sundowns’ progression, but a draw may not be enough if Dortmund beat Ulsan HD.
Fluminense only need one point to advance.
Sundowns' coach, Miguel Cardoso, said Fluminense won’t be a walkover, even though they do not need three points to progress to the last 16.
“They are a competitive side coached by someone from a continent where club football has improved massively in the last decade. The game’s intensity has risen significantly.
“We will remain true to ourselves—aggressive, confident, and enjoying the game. Without that mindset, we cannot play our football. If we do, we can compete.”
Should Sundowns progress from the group stage, it will mark the first time a team from the country has reached that stage at the Club World Cup.
Kick-off is scheduled for 9 pm (SA time).
