Injury-hit Lions welcome back Boks for Currie Cup semis

The Xerox Golden Lions have been hit by some injuries ahead of their Currie Cup semi-final against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday but welcome back three Springboks.

Howard Mnisi (knee), Courtnall Skosan (groin), Dylan Smith (surgery on shoulder) and MB Lusaseni (finger) will all miss out on the action this weekend.
Lourens Erasmus and Sylvian Mahuza started training last week and Andries Ferreira joined training on Monday.
The Lions welcome back their Springboks Faf de Klerk, Julian Redelinghuys and Malcolm Marx but Ruan Combrinck has not recovered sufficiently from a fractured fibula.
Springboks Warren Whiteley, Jaco Kriel, Franco Mostert, Elton Jantjies and Lionel Mapoe have all joined their Japanese clubs for the remainder of the season.
The Lions team announcement will take place on Thursday at Emirates Airline Park.
